Job description for Manufacturing Sales Rep:
JOB SUMMARY
· Identify prospects using online resources provided by MDL, as well as business directories, area networks, and leads from existing clients and associations.
· Focus on customers and working with internal departments to assure orders flow smoothly from order entry to final shipment.
· Schedule and conduct appointments with company owners, purchasers, and high-ranking contacts to evaluate manufacturing needs.
· Perform polished, effective presentations.
· Cultivate and maintain client relationships and key affiliations.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Motivation, drive and a desire to achieve financial success.
· Ability to take initiative, set personal goals and work autonomously.
· Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
· Firm knowledge of Internet, computer and MS Office.
· Marketing and sales experience.
· Degree in Business Management or Engineering.

Job description for Cost Estimator:
JOB SUMMARY Cost estimator will provide information by developing the cost information needed in order to determine if a proposed product will be profitable, or to make bid for a contract. The Cost Estimator will work to determine which endeavors are making an adequate profit. They are responsible to analyze and compile data on each factor that may have an influence on costs. Such factors include labor, materials, special machinery requirements, and location. The estimator’s goal is to accurately estimate the costs associated with making specified products. They will work hand in hand with the engineers, programmers and shop technicians. In order to determine the tools, gauges, materials, and machining operations required for production of the product, the cost estimator and the engineers will first review blueprints or conceptual drawings of the product. The estimator then puts together a list of parts and decides whether it is more cost efficient to manufacture or to purchase the parts. In doing this the estimator makes various inquiries to potential suppliers about price information, as well as determining the cost associated with manufacturing each piece of the product.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
• Consult with clients, vendors, project Managers and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Confer with engineers, architects, customers, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
• Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction

Job description for CNC Machinist:
JOB SUMMARY
Perform maintenance on machines, cleaning & organization of tools and work area, Set-up and program CNC machines; ensure parts are in compliance with customer drawing specifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Draw accurate wire frame of part
• Generate complete and accurate tool paths to perform all necessary machining of part
• Responsible for the necessary maintenance of data transfer to machines
• Responsible for creating back-up of all Program Software programs
• Order special parts/tools before job is started
• Set-up of CNC machines
• Responsible for ensuring necessary maintenance is completed on machines
• Check tooling, components and fluids on a regular basis
• Conduct preoperational checks of equipment
• Select carbide tools and holders
• Perform dimensional checks
• Grind and sharpen tools and cutters
• Perform various types of filing
• Dial in shafts on machines
• Dial in bores using a dial finger
• Blue surfaces for flatness and fit
• Select milling cutters
• Research technical bulletins and publications
• Develop CNC operating programs using the CAD/CAM system
• Develop written procedures for manual programming of CNC machines
• Program CNC machines
